It is our pleasure to introduce to you the premier golf group of African American men united under a collegiate banner of achievement. The Kappa Golf Association was founded in November of 2005 to enhance the game of golf, increase the fellowship opportunities for the members of the fraternity and promote the rules and etiquette of golf as a mechanism for mentoring and developing our youth. As a result this original regional initiative has blossomed into a national network of Kappa men who enjoy the game of golf, the fraternity and community service. Our junior golf league along with our “Guide Right” initiative which utilizes the many lessons of golf to educate, inspire and train our youth will only continue to flourish as our membership grows.

• To encourage traditioinally under-represented and socio-economically disadvantaged boys and girls to participate in the sport of golf.
• To encourage athletic, academic, professional and personal success.
• To assist in the development of our youth, by utilizing the lessons of golf; integrity, honor, fair play, courtesy and honesty as a mechanism for personal development.
• To increase the participation of traditioinally under-represented and socio-economically disadvantaged boys and girls in the game of golf by providing clinics, golf skill instruction and opportunities for athletic development and competition.
• To provide mentoring relationships with our participating boys and girls that encourages; personal achievement, goal setting and professional success.

Dear members, it is with great pleasure that I look back at the accomplishments of the Kappa Golf Association and our youth mentoring and development program Junior Golf Guide Right during the inaugural year. I truly appreciate everyone’s hard work, dedication and commitment to the success and future of the program. On behalf of our association, I am delighted to inform you of our accomplishments and encourage you to join us as we continue to build momentum and stay focused on our goals. We are especially proud of the way we laid the foundation for this program that is geared to be a premiere junior golf program.
